On Sunday February 12th 2012, in Los Angeles at the Staples Center, LL Cool J hosted the 54th annual Grammy Awards. The day before the Grammys, Whitney Houston died, and at last second notice, a tribute was planned for her.

(Kanye West nominated for the most awards with seven,) Adele, Bruno Mars, and Foo Fighters all won six. Lil Wayne, Skrillex, and Radiohead all won five. It was the first time in seven years the event had an official host.

There were so many interesting things about the Grammy Awards that night; Nicki Minaj walked the red carpet in a bright red dress that looked like something Lady Gaga would wear.

There were so many great moments about the Grammys, from new artists setting records for most awards, to old artists being remembered for their talent and style, the 54th annual Grammy Awards was definitely an exciting night.
