Midnight Sun: Meyer’s Unfinished Master Piece

            Midnight Sun is Stephenie Meyer’s newest book in the Twilight series. During Meyer’s process of writing Midnight Sun, someone hacked onto her computer and leaked the first chapter online for the world to see. Meyer was so upset about this that she strongly considered not even finishing and publishing it. When the fans found out about this, they went crazy and begged Meyer to finish Midnight Sun.

            After Meyer thought about this, she thought it wouldn’t be fair for her fans to be miserable because of one person’s mistake. Meyer decided that she would finish the book. Most of the world has already read the chapter that’s been leaked online, and they’re eager for the rest to come out.

            Meyer has decided to wait to finish writing the book though. She says that it won’t be the same if she’s not excited and passionate about it. Meyer tells Twilight Series Theories that it feels more like homework to her right now and that when it doesn’t, she’ll be excited to finish the book.

            Midnight Sun is basically the same as the first book, Twilight, but it’s from a different character’s point of view. This character is Edward who is a favorite to fans of this series. Edward’s perspective is why so many fans want to read this book.

            Fans also want to read Midnight Sun because it’s something different, and fans say that it will be the most exciting book yet.
