The looks on their faces

The many questions of why

It hurts my heart and soul to hear and see them cry.

People make decisions that affect them

 And someone else

Innocent boys and girls hurting

Because their parents just gave up.

Now not everyone is wrong

It may have been the wrong time

But grown men and women not being responsible

Willing to leave their own child at a doorstep or out by themself

At the drop of a dime.

Kids may go from home to home

Never finding that love they need

Like a flower with no water, it can not grow

A teacher with no lesson plan

These kids need families

They need to hold a hand.

So why not be the help they need

Lend a heart and give a home

Guaranteed they will never feel

Alone.
